“𝗠𝗿. 𝗚” is a delicate and heart-warming story of intergenerational friendship told through letters exchanged between Jackson and Mr. Graham. It begins with Jackson writing an apology letter to Mr. Graham for accidentally kicking the soccer ball into his garden and perhaps damaging the roses in the process. Mr. Graham replies and a chain of letters follow. With time, Mr. Graham and Jackson share parts of their lives with each other and a beautiful friendship blossoms. Mr. G continues writing to Jackson until the end of his life, instilling the power of positivity. Lovely letters coupled with gorgeous illustrations – it was an instant hit with my class kids.
