Dear Stray

A little girl adopts a sticky, scratchy stray kitten. Her mother does not understand why she chose this particular kitten, but our little protagonist feels that “we all feel spiky sometimes” and she finds a connection with the kitten in their similar tendencies of lashing out at others. Written in the form of a letter to the stray, the girl and the kitten soon find out that they have a mutually calming effect and are just made for each other.
