Geraldine Pu takes her lunch box to school every day, packed with delicious food prepared by her Amah – soup, dumplings, noodles… But another child makes fun of her food and soon a whole bunch of kids starts ridiculing her. But Geraldine knows just the right strategy to fight back!

A familiar storyline presented in the format of a graphic novel, makes it thoroughly enjoyable for the 6+ age group. The illustrations and text are so engaging that kids would just love it. I especially liked the section “How to read this book” that explains speech bubbles, thought bubbles and panels. Now if only the words “Level 3” did not hang like a medallion on the cover…
