Thoroughly enjoying the audio book of the recently released “J vs K”– from bestselling authors Kwame Alexander and Jerry Craft – while waiting for the hard copy to arrive.

J and K are creative fifth-graders – J loves to draw and K is a word wizard. Both participate in their school’s creative storytelling contest, vying to outdo each other. Fans of Kwame and Jerry would thoroughly love this book, especially the references to the other books that they’ve written. This book keeps comics at the centerstage, champions creativity and cherishes the charm of collaboration.

While audio books are “real books,” this is a good example of when it is not, for I am kept longing to discover the illustrations in the book. However, this audiobook would be a great companion to the hard copy – so I strongly recommend getting hold of both versions! Perfect for Grades 3 and above.
