As they look further back in time, in each era they find that humans have fought each other for land. People divided up the land, they built walls to keep others out and every discovery or invention has led to using those tools to make fighting more effective.

This book underscores human nature to squabble over territory. By looking closely at the history of the Earth, this book is a beautiful messenger of world peace! One of the best Oliver Jeffers books!
