Now I know what the online hype about โ€œ๐™‹๐™–๐™ฅ๐™ž๐™ก๐™ž๐™คโ€ was all about! This book is unlike any creation on the life cycle of a butterfly. Ben Clanton (๐˜•๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ธ๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ญ ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜‘๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜ญ๐˜บ), Corey Tabor (๐˜”๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ ๐˜๐˜ฆ๐˜ญ๐˜ญ) and Andy Chou Musser (๐˜—๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ ๐˜š๐˜ค๐˜ช๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ ๐˜Œ๐˜น๐˜ฑ๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ด) โ€“ three creators with very different styles โ€“ have come together, each taking charge of one phase of the life cycle but weaving one cohesive story in the process.

It is a perfect example that collaboration doesnโ€™t mean compromising your individual style. The cherry on the cake is the final illustration, which includes contribution from all three. Be sure to read the authorsโ€™ note to truly appreciate the creative process.

While the book is great for kindergarten and lower elementary, it is also an asset for upper elementary students to marvel at the power of working together. Truly loved it!
