Catching up on my TBR pile of novel in verse. This book is a very gentle read that combines a girl’s experience as she quarantines with her grandparents, with virtual school, experiences of Native/Indigenous children, befriending a dog and above all, oral storytelling. I should have read this earlier!

A charming read for the 9+ age group!
