Parents and home adults, if it irks you to see your tween read graphic novels, you know not their world or how realistic a graphic novel could be! Read this book about body image, anorexia, navigating friendships, trying to fit in, moving to a new school and shooing off that critic in the head.
The best thing about this book is that it doesn’t project a singular narrative but weaves a maze of issues that tweens usually have to navigate through.
Can’t recommend this book enough!
