The Imposter

“𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿” is such a hilarious and relatable book as a parent! Olive, our little protagonist, loves her cuddly stuffed toy Mr. Snuggles. But one day Mr. Snuggles was nowhere to be found. Now if you have faced this situation as a parent of a very young child, you probably know that desperate times call for desperate measures. So just when Olive thought that Mr. Snuggles was gone forever, wonder of wonders, Mr. Snuggles was found!! But hey, Olive soon found out that this Mr. Snuggles was far too clean, and far too new, and far too fluffy and the extra-crusty spot behind the right ear was missing – this Mr. Snuggles was fake, he was an IMPOSTER!!

As many parents might confess, I have had the exact similar situation many moons ago. I shared this ARC with my now teenaged daughter and it was as if this story is straight out of our lives!
