Verity Nelson – Very – is the student body president, a debate club nerd, first chair charinetist and can do more push-ups than anyone else in school. She is good at almost everything, well almost, except math. Her math grades are in free fall and unless she pulls them up fast, she must resign from the student body.

Very tries very hard. She goes to remedial classes, puts in as much effort as possible, but without success. Her math teacher then realises that Very has dyscalculia and they work together to make things better.

I loved this feel-good graphic novel not just for the awareness on dyscalculia, but also for the friendship dramas that get easily resolved, teachers who care and the humour on every page.

Perfect for Grades 4 and above!
