Will It Be Okay?

“Will it be okay?” is a tender picture book that soothes a child’s anxiety with grace and wisdom. A little girl is visibly anxious and asks her mother (presumably), if it would be okay, what if there is thunder and lightning, or what if a bee stings her, or what if someone doesn’t like her or what if her mother dies… For each question, the mother has a solution that puts the little girl’s mind at ease – pre-order the book to find out more about the mother’s advice for each problem!

My favorite is the wise counsel to the question “What if someone doesn’t like me”, to which the mother says:

Written by Charlotte Zolotow’s daughter Crescent Dragonwagon, and illustrated by Jessica Love, this picture book will be available in September 2022.
