This is a great research-based book by Dr Christia Spears Brown on how children are affected by bias - both explicit and implicit - and looks at bias from various angles.


It is especially relevant for educators because “Biases and prejudices don’t just develop when people become adults (or CEOs or politicians). Rather, they begin when children are very young, slowly growing, becoming more entrenched each year, and becoming harder and harder to erase.”
